Schezwan Sabudana

Ingredient – (1 cup = 200 ml)

  • 2 cup sabudana

  • 2 tablespoon oil

  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped garlic

  • ½ tablespoon finely chopped ginger

  • 2 tablespoon finely chopped onion

  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped capsicum

  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped carrot

  • 4 tablespoon finely chopped cabbage

  • 2 ½ tablespoon schezwan sauce

  • White pepper as required

  • Salt as required

How to make recipe –

  • Wash sabudana two to three times and then soak in one and half cup water for three to four hours. Sabudana grains should be separate and moist.

  • Take 2 tablespoon oil in pan. Heat the oil on a medium flame.

  • Add 1 tablespoon garlic and ½ tablespoon ginger. Saute it till garlic and ginger turns brown in colour. Make sure that it does’nt get burned.

  • Add 1 tablespoon finely chopped onion and saute for 1-2 minutes.

  • Add 1 tablespoon finely chopped capsicum and saute for 1-2 minutes.

  • Add 1 tablespoon finely chopped carrot and saute for 1-2 minutes.

  • Add 4 tablespoon finely chopped cabbage and saute for 1-2 minutes.

  • Add sabudana and mix well.

  • Add schezwan sauce and mix well.

  • Add white pepper and salt as required.

  • Fry for 2-3 minutes on a medium flame.

  • Serve hot and garnish with finely chopped cabbage.
